Did you ever wonder how a piping network would behave before you actually sit in front of your design mainframe and spent tons of hours simulating it?

Are you an engineering student, who is just curious about hydraulics?

Or do you often do on-the-field engineering work, and want a simple, fast and yet accurate enough calculation tool for a piping network?

Then this app is just for you! It solves a piping network by well-known engineering methods (Hardy-Cross), and gives a fast yet accurate enough prediction of the flows in all components of the network. Friction losses are of course considered for the analysis of the network behavior (Moody chart).

The following elements are supported:
-Tanks (source or drain, pressurized or open)
- Pipes
- Pumps
- Sudden contractions/expansions
- Bends
- Various valves

The working fluid can be water, kerosine, oil or octane.

How to use it:
Just click on the plus button to start successively adding elements in your network, then select the fluid and hit "Solve"! Its that simple. In addition, you can single-tap on any node to add a new element after that node.

Click with two fingers between two already existing nodes to add an element in between.

Tap on any element to change its direction.

Double-tap on any element or node to see the results.
